  First introduced by its founder A.T. Still in the 1870s, osteopathy is a science, a philosophy, and a practice. Osteopathy is a form of gentle manual therapy looking at the relationship between structure and function throughout the body. As classically trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioners at Ace Osteopathy, we follow principles and believe that the body is a dynamic unit of function, structure and function are interrelated throughout the body, and the body is self healing and self regulating. We are looking to align structure, produce cohesion through all systems and create efficiency in the body. Although treatment takes place on our table, the real treatment happens when you allow the body to integrate the treatment through daily movement - we aren't healers, you are! We just help the body do what it naturally does.
